DAC QSFP+ to SFP+ breakout cables offer the lowest cost connectivity for 40GBASE-CR4 as well as a high port density and low power requirement. For short distances DAC cables offer a lower cost alternative to QSFP+28 transceivers and fibre breakout cables.
