Optical modules compliant with the SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) / SFP+ standard are devices that convert electrical to optical and optical to electrical signals The use of media converters with the possibility of replacing SFP modules is particularly advantageous due to versatility, e.g. in the case of changing the network configuration, instead of replacing the entire device or adding new media converters, it is enough to select the appropriate SFP module. Modules work with most switches and routers with SFP slot. Note!SFP+20-1330/1270 requires SFP+20-1270/1330 to work together.
